Grand Rapids Griffins Win The Calder Cup!

Calder Cup! GRAND RAPIDS - Here are some of the reactions from the players, coaches - and even owners - from the Grand Rapids Griffins after winning the 81st Calder Cup Trophy.Coach Todd Nelson, on when the momentum changed:"When Bert scored (early in the third) that's when it changed. We were a lot more crisp and when he scored our bench lifted up and we said, 'That's it we're going to take the lead tonight and end this thing."Defenseman and captain Nathan Paetsch, on hoisting the Calder Cup:"It's one of those surreal moments that you dream about and then can't believe they're happening. I'm just so happy for our fans, for the boost they gave up tonight. I love this city and its passion for the game. It makes you proud to be a part of it."Griffins co-owner Dan DeVos, on the atmosphere:"What a great way to finish it. In front of a packed house celebrating a title after a great game. Grand Rapids showed again what a great hockey town it is."Right wing Mitch Callahan, on being on both title teams with the Griffins:"They're both great but I'm a little older now so I'm cherishing this one a little more. It's winning at home that makes this so special. These fans are very deserving of all this and we're a very happy team right now."
